At Laird and Partners Agency in NYC, our team led comprehensive initiatives including Conception, Branding, and Pitch Presentation for MZ Wallace, an American company specializing in the design, manufacturing, and marketing of handbags and fashion accessories. Founded in 1999 by Monica Zwirner and Lucy Wallace Eustice, MZ Wallace is based in New York City, with stores situated in the Manhattan neighborhoods of SoHo and the Upper East Side. The stores were meticulously designed by New York-based German architect, Annabelle Selldorf.
One of our notable endeavors was the creation of the 'Bag Finder,' an interactive feature enabling customers to discover the ideal MZ Wallace bag for their lifestyle based on personalized groupings of items. Additionally, we initiated the 'In The Bag' social initiative, aimed at fostering fan engagement across social networks. This included the development of a Facebook app that streamed curated fan photos from Twitter and Instagram, tagged with #InsideMyMZW. On Tumblr, we curated artistic compositions reflecting self-portraits made up of items typically carried in a bag, with select compositions being featured in MZ Wallace shops globally as part of an ongoing campaign.
